When it was first announced that Sony would be creating a ‘Venom’ Spinoff movie, I wasn’t about to get my hopes up. Sony has been ‘developing’ multiple superhero movies and most either never get into production or just became downright bad movies. However this movie really seems to becoming to fruition. When Tom Hardy was first announced to play Eddie Brock, better known as the anti-hero Venom, it was the first signs of Sony taking this movie very seriously. Now with the first teaser trailer released, fans can check out Hardy as the badass anti-hero.
The movie is set to release in October of this year and will also feature ‘The Night Of’ star Riz Ahmed and Michelle Williams. The trailer doesn’t necessarily show Hardy become Venom or anything like that but it does give us an idea of just how intense this movie is going to be.
