Both Vrabel and Robinson have been crucial for the Titans’ success in the last six seasons. Currently, Tennessee is one of two teams in the NFL with a winning record in each of the last six seasons. Most recently, they finished the regular season with the top seed of the AFC.
“I am proud to say that Jon and Mike will be leading our football team for years to come,” said Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk in a statement. “I have seen the team improve on a yearly basis under their direction, and I know their singular goal is to deliver a championship for our fans. Together they have developed a culture within our organization that has been essential to our success.”
Derrick Henry, Julio Jones, Ryan Tannehill, Kevin Byard, and Desmond King acquisitions, via the Draft or free agency, have all been work from Robinson to create a roster that can compete for a championship.
Since Vrabel arrived in 2018, the Titans have made the playoffs three times in four years, however, they have lost in all of the playoffs instances: Wild Card in 2020, Divisional Round in 2021, and Conference Championship in 2019.
The team is at the top of the league but hasn’t yet converted their success into a championship, a priority for the next seasons.
