At this moment, it doesn’t appear that anyone or anything is capable of stopping Tinashe’s momentum. Just last month, she appeared alongside Naomi Osaka and Megan Thee Stallion in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Edition. Also, she dropped three new singles and announced a new tour. Beginning September 16, she will make several stops across the country including Dallas, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. To top it all off, she announced that she had a new album in-store as well and it looks like she has a few things to get off her chest.
“One thing about me — If we date I will definitely write multiple albums about you. Literally hundreds of songs. Do with that information what you will,” Tinashe tweeted.
Starting off the month, the all-around musician has delivered her latest full-length project, 333. Much like her 2019 project, Songs For You, 333 features a more than a dozen tracks with key contributions from Kaytranada, Jeremih, Kudzai, Quiet Child, Kaash Paige, Wax Motif, Buddy and several others.
333 is the evolution of what Tinashe delivered on Songs For You. With her first few singles, she presents herself as someone who has made the next step in their life and is ready to take ownership of their identity and future.
“Over the course of the last two years, there’s been a lot of growth for me,” she told GRAMMY.com
“I really feel at peace with where I’m at in my career and excited about the fact that I’m able to make my own creative decisions. It’s empowering. I’m feeling a lot more inspired and joyful in alignment with what I’m meant to be doing.”
Thankfully, the time has come for Tinashe to share that empowering, joyful and inspirational work with the world. Check out 333 below.
