Tiffany Haddish is showing no signs of slowing down in 2020. It’s her time to shine and she is ready. Recently, Haddish celebrated the release of her Netflix animated series, Tuca & Bertie. Shortly thereafter, we learned that Tiffany Haddish would be starring alongside Chris Hemsworth in a new buddy cop film set to be released in the near future. Not to mention, it appears that there are talks to create a Girls Trip sequel with Jada Pinkett-Smith, Regina Hall and Queen Latifah. With all of that going on, the comedian turned actor has turned herself into a television host as well.
ABC has announced that Tiffany Haddish will host the reboot of Kids Say The Darndest Things. The comedy show will include a variety of segments in which Haddish goes on carpool duty for a group of kids, seeks advice on her dating life from adolescents and more.
Tiffany Haddish told the network, “I’m excited to hear what kids have to say these days because I can’t understand what they are saying on social media.” She added, “They’re using too many abbreviations.”
ABC Entertainment President Karey Burke noted, “When I was dreaming of stars I wanted to bring to ABC, Tiffany Haddish was top of my list.” Burke stated, “Tiffany starring in and producing this iconic series is everything I hoped for.”
The ABC reboot will air on Sundays at 8 p.m. EST.
