
Tiffany Haddish had made herself known throughout the comedy realm, but she is searching for a change in the new year. The successful comedian is in talks to join her first sci-fi film. MGM, Plan B and Annapurna are seeking Haddish to lead their adaptation of the award-winning book, Landscape with the Invisible Hand. Cory Finley is also in talks to join Haddish as the director.
Landscape with the Invisible Hand is a novel written by M.T. Anderson. Anderson tells the story of Adam Costello as he adjusts to earth after an alien invasion and economic collapse.
Haddish is well known for her work as a successful comedian. In 2017, she cemented herself as a Hollywood star by playing Dina in Girls Trip. Since then, she has starred in Uncle Drew, Night School and The Secret Life of Pets 2. She has also hosted Saturday Night Live and appeared in music videos for both Drake and Jay-Z.
Finley is a young screenwriter and director. Thus far, he has directed two projects, Thoroughbreds and Bad Education. Through his work, he was honored at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.
