Since the launch of TIDAL earlier this year, it can go without saying that the streaming service had been met with a list of complaints and/or backlash fresh out the gate. While some seemed viable and others completely making no sense, things haven’t come easy to the new service. Being backed by some of the most prominent names in the music industry, TIDAL has pushed forward and held true to the promises they have made in terms of just what they will offer to fans, along with new innovative ways to experience music. Up next, while not being anything new to music consumers, TIDAL has launched a brand new download store. Similar to other digital music retailers, TIDAL now offers subscribers, and even non-subscribers, the opportunity to purchase singles and albums from our favorite artists. In an even better experience for consumers, along with MP3 purchase options, fans can also purchase lossless versions of singles and albums that enhance the listening experience. While this may not serve as a big deal to some, this comes as great news as it drastically reduces the “hindrance” of some of the service’s prominent names dropping exclusives that can only be accessed via a TIDAL subscription. Now, exclusives in the form of music can be dropped and made available for purchase with the service all while keeping the exclusive nature of it all. With Rihanna’s ANTi slated to arrive at any moment, it wouldn’t come as surprise if Ms. Fenty’s 8th album finds itself being the first major surprise that the store will bring. Feel free to explore, here.
