Surprise, surpise! With his latest album, Beauty Behind The Madness, still being the fresh topic of discussion, The Weeknd is still keeping the ball rolling and continues to promote the body of work that has helped the singer skyrocket to new levels of success.
Just early in the week, the Grammy award winning singer took to the stage at the Grammys and put forth an amazing showing that consisted of his No. 1 single, ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ and his current radio record, ‘In The Night.’ Not known to many, and after many conflicting reports, the soulful Lauryn Hill was reportedly slated to take the Grammy stage with The Weeknd to deliver a special live rendition of ‘In The Night.’ Obviously, not making that happen, the singer made up for it elsewhere as Lauryn Hill joined The Weeknd for a special performance of his current single on “Jimmy Fallon.” Coming together in perfect harmony, it’s as if the record was made just for them to one day deliver this live showing. Embracing such a moment, it would come as no surprise if The Weeknd & Lauryn Hill find themselves pairing up for an official musical collaboration in the near future. We can only imagine what kind of greatness the two would cook up. Staying within the present, watch the singers do their thing, below.
