If you’re a fan of The Internet, then you know just how much the band has achieved in the past few months. At the start of the Summer, The Internet went on to release their third studio album, Ego Death, for the world’s consumption. Met with rave reviews from critics and fans alike, Ego Death opened a new world for the band that’s led by Syd tha Kyd. Boasting collaborations from the likes of Vic Mensa, Tyler The Creator, and more, the success that the band has seen over the last 6 months has afforded them the opportunity to not only tour the U.S. but will soon see them touring overseas in the next few months. First, the band stopped by ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ for a special moment that officially marked their television debut. With no better first impression to make on those who may not have known them, the band put forth a energetic live rendition of their fan-favorite Ego Death cut, ‘Get Away.’ With the stage filled with almost every instrument imaginable, The Internet rocked the crowd with a swag that only they can put forth. Met with much love and positive reaction, there’s no doubt that there’s much more to come from the rising stars. Check out The Internet’s debut television performance of ‘Get Away,’ below.
