For those that have seen Jack Harlow rise through the ranks with the help of Generation Now, it may appear that he’s come up alone. Nothing could be further from the truth. From his earliest interviews with Sway to his debut album, Jack Harlow has continued to shout out Private Garden, a group of creatives ranging from producers to filmmakers that he’s grown up with. This week, the Louisville native connected with members of Private Garden known as The Homies for a new track called “White Lies.”
“I’ve been stackin’ up white lies/I got bad bi*tches and they bite-sized/Gaslight ’til she see the bright side/Fast life, Is you tryna slide by with me,” Harlow raps.
“Is you tryna drive by with me/In the 50, but my whip see it do five times fifty/She said I got five guys with me/Turned this to a sci-fi pic/I’m in the shotgun and she tryna drive stick.”
This is far from the first time that The Homies have connected with Jack Harlow. Most notably, he hopped on “Leaf Wraps” in 2019 to deliver one of his best guest verses. Moving forward, expect to see more collaborations between The Homies and Jack Harlow. In the meantime, check out “White Lies” below.
