The Cleveland Cavaliers game 2 win was exciting, but they could be in the spotlight today for all the wrong reasons.
Strangest thing of night: when videoscreen showed skit of a guy in Cavs gear throwing girlfriend across room until she removed Bulls gear.

Supposedly the video was based on this commercial:
The message was more than likely going for a humorous remake of the commercial, but kind of risky doing that considering people may or may not have seen the commercial so they think it’s just a video of a guy abusing his girlfriend so she takes her Chicago Bulls gear off.
The Cavaliers did not mean for the video to send the message, but with domestic abuse being front and center on the news and unfortunately hearing about it all the time you have to be careful with things like this.
In this case The Cavs put their own spin on a commercial to add humor to the playoff series, and it was interpreted wrong.
We all know Cavs Owner Dan Gilbert would never allow something like this to be utilized if he thought it was going to send the wrong message or have a negative outlook on the franchise.
I’m sure we will be hearing from Cavs Owner Dan Gilbert or General Manager David Griffin at some point within the next day or two for an explanation.
