Earl Sweatshirt appears to be readying a new album. During a recent interview with Anthony Fantano, the legendary producer said that he heard the rapper’s new project and called it “incredible.”
“Earl’s album is incredible,” The Alchemist said.
“He has an album that is done and it’s incredible. I’m excited about that and I do have some work on there.”
About three years have passed since Earl Sweatshirt delivered his last project, Some Rap Songs. While it was well-received, it appears that The Alchemist thinks one will be even better.
“It’s insane,” he continued.
“I think everybody will be happy. He’s in his bag, as he should be. Earl is always working, he’s a master of his craft, so something gets cut all the time. When he decides to press the button, we’ll see. But he’s got loaded guns. Know that he’s hard at work and the magic is there.”
The legendary producer didn’t go into details about his involvement in the project, but this all sounds promising. However, we still don’t have a release date, unfortunately.
