Teyana Taylor and Wu-Tang Clan hit the streets of Harlem for the remixed Gonna Love Me. Directed by Teyana Taylor herself, the video’s storyline includes relationship drama and ends with a house party.
The leading lady played by Teyana Taylor confronts her boyfriend Ghostface about a mystery phone and cheating allegations. Both musicians flex their acting skills as a fight ends with Teyana Taylor storming out of their apartment, parading through the streets of Harlem.
With nostalgic vibes, the Gonna Love Me remix video also includes Method Man whom she runs into on the steps. Although not in the video, Raekwon rounds out the members of Wu-Tang Clan who contributed a verse to this Hip-Hop and R&B collaboration.
The video ends with Teyana Taylor, Ghostface and Method Man at one party where she spots her guy with another woman. With all of her energy, she confronts the lovebirds, and a fight ensues. Method Man runs over, seemingly to control the situation, however, gunshots fire and the video ends.
Gonna Love Me released on Teyana Taylor’s summer 2018 release Keep That Same Energy received the Wu-Tang treatment this fall. Wu-Tang Clan recently teamed up with Milk Makeup for an exclusive lipstick collection, enlisting Teyana Taylor for the visuals.
