Almost a year and a half ago, back in September 2014, it was announced that TnT would be taking on DC Comics Teen Titans. The show was supposed to be live-action and focus on the leadership of Dick Grayson a.k.a Nightwing. Since the initial announcement and what the show would possibly be about, theres been few to no updates about the show, until now. During the winter press run for the 2016 TCA, TnT President Kevin Reilly officially announced that they will be canning the show.
During the TnT portion of the Television Critics Association, Kevin Reilly simply put it as “We decided it wasn’t where we wanted to go”.
The CW currently has Arrow, The Flash and now, The Legends Of Tomorrow, maybe the Teen Titans can find a slot on Monday or Friday and join the CW’s DC Universe.
