Losing Prince, a stalwart, versatile player who contributes on both ends, is a tough blow for this young Hawks team. John Collins just recently returned from an injury of his own. Collins and Prince provide a versatile 3-4 or 4-5 combo that can guard multiple positions and hurt you in multiple ways on offense.
In 21 games this season (20 starts), Prince has averaged a career-high 15 points per game to go with 4.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 43.1 percent from the field and 36.7 percent from 3-point range.
Collins has played just nine games and has averaged 15.9 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game while shooting 61.2 percent from the field.
The Hawks are in a developmental year, of which winning games is of little concern. They currently sit tied with the Chicago Bulls for the worst record in the Eastern conference at 5-19.
