The Phoenix Suns recently traded brother Marcus Morris to the Detroit Pistons in order to clear cap space to have a chance at LaMarcus Aldridge. We now know that LaMarcus will be going to the Spurs and the Suns efforts went to waste. Markieff was supposedly not happy with the trade of his brother and now he being shopped around.
According to Jordan Schultz of the Huffington Post:
Hearing the Suns are trying to deal Markieff Morris, who has an affordable 8M/yr deal. He and Hornacek don’t get along, plus Marcus is gone.

He also mentions that the Suns have been looking else-where for their starting Power Forward position:
Also hearing Suns may be pursuing Ryan Anderson, among other 4s. Anderson is a premier stretch 4 and still just 27 years old. Good passer 2.

With Anderson and Tyson Chandler, the Suns will have a good mix of rebounding and perimeter shots which will complement their offense. Despite that being said, Markieff Morris is a talented stretch four, who can space the floor for any team. The Raptors, Pelicans, Clippers, and anyone else in need of front-court depth will look into the trade possibility. Morris has been mentioned in previous trade rumors with the Raptors, because of their lack of a starting Power Forward.
