Summer Walker announces she will not continue “The First And Last Tour” due to personal health reasons.
After a fan’s complaint about a lackluster meet-and-greet went viral, the Over It singer found herself explaining herself to fans expressing disappointment. Summer Walker in-turn shared an Instagram post with a lengthy caption, explaining her reason for not offering hugs and jubilant greetings.
“…now for those who’re upset b/c I don’t give hugs idk what to tell you…I’m an empath, and that transference of energy from that many people each day would literally KILL me.” writes Summer Walker.

Now, it seems the singer may be done touring altogether. Her record-breaking album has catapulted Summer Walker into stardom which causes internal conflicts. In an Instagram live session, recorded and uploaded to Twitter by The Neighborhood Talk Summer Walker breaks the news that touring is not her thing.
“I’ma say I really really really appreciate the people who genuinely care and love me for me, who accept my personality, who really enjoy my craft, who play the fuck out of my music, who show up to the shows, to the meet and greets. I love and appreciate y’all but unfortunately, I’m not going to be able to carry on this tour because it doesn’t really coexist well with my social anxiety. My personality, I don’t really think is … I don’t think introverts are really that..” Summer Walker says before the clip ends.

She has previously shared thoughts of quitting music overall. Fans of the Atlanta R&B starlet, can only wait and hope one of their new favorites is continues to release the music they love while remaining sound in health.
