The time has come for the battle to begin. After an explosive finale in season three, Succession is on its way back to the silver screen this spring. To preview what is to come, HBO has shared the first trailer for the new season.
“This is a chessboard, and every move is crucial,” the trailer’s tagline reads.
In approximately 90 seconds, the trailer offers insight into the split that has divided the family. On one side, Logan stands with cousin Greg and Tom. On the other side, Kendall, Siobhan, Roman and Connor. Right in the middle, Waystar Co. sits as the two sides struggle for power in a dramatic, humorous struggle.
“It’s a tightrope walk on a straight razor. Five-hundred-foot reputational drop,” Kendall tells Roy about the road ahead as they battle their father for control of the family business.
