It’s safe to say that collaboration albums and/or mixtapes are definitely the it thing to do among Hip-Hop creatives. Not being anything new or innovative, in recent years there’s definitely been a spike in Hip-Hop forces coming together for joint bodies of work. With talks of a project between Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz being mentioned in the ending months of 2015, most fans took the potential LP as a grain of salt and with no real hopes that these plans would actually come to life. Taking to “Jimmy Kimmel” just a few weeks ago, the rappers went on to premiere new music from the LP and now, thanks to Kanye West, we have the final proof we needed as Collegrove is officially set to take the world be storm. In a creative cover that perfectly blends & manifests the attributes of Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz, momentum has officially been sent through the roof as the duo will release the new body of work, this Friday on March 4th. Revealed by Kanye West, best bets are that the Collegrove album cover is a DONDA creation.
