Going into March now and The NBA does not have a clear cut MVP they have a handful that you can make a case for which is obviously great for the league and great for debate.
Russell Westbrook, Steph Curry, and James Harden are your early front runners (rightfully so) and we obviously need to include LeBron James who has improved his play since his slow start earlier this season.
Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey has already submitted his vote for MVP and he’s casted that vote as early as December consistently stating James Harden is the MVP.
I courteously submit that @JHarden13, while only focused on obtaining a win, had a distinguished game 4the @HoustonRockets team this evening

Morey’s job is obviously a bit difficult to upgrade the roster in March after the trade deadline and his job is now to just sit back and watch the team, and it’s hard not to be amazed with the season Harden is having.
One person that is not amused with Morey’s advocating for Harden is Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr. Kerr had some choice words for The Rockets General Manager:
“If Daryl Morey wants to run his own 1 man campaign for James Harden he can do that. We’re focused on other stuff.”
Kerr obviously thinks his MVP candidate is the more deserving, but Kerr has brought a championship state of mind to Golden State and has his eyes on the prize. Kerr did state later on that he does care if Steph Curry does win the award, but his job is to coach the team.
This MVP race has been such an odd one with 3 strong candidates, and before the injury to Anthony Davis he could’ve gotten more consideration. Imagine if Durant was playing at 100% it might take some of the amazing games we’ve seen Westbrook have, but we all know both of those players can play at a high level.
This MVP race should come down to the wire, but Steph Curry has helped lead The Golden State Warriors to the best record in The Western Conference and they look like the best team in the league to this point. Curry was always known as a dominant offensive player since Kerr was hired by Golden State he has helped Steph progress into more of a complete player which is one of the reasons Golden State has been so successful this season.
