Stephen Curry is the reigning NBA MVP and he was voted as such unanimously by the NBA’s media members. He’s earned that right and he’s showed on many occasions he’s an MVP not only on the court but also off it.
As the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers game 6 came down to the wire tempers flared and the root of it was frustration from the NBA MVP. Curry was given his sixth and final foul and what resulted was an automatic ejection from the game. Steph didn’t take too kindly to it and he voiced his displeasure with the referees, freaking out, tossing his mouthpiece and actually hitting a fan in the process.
While the reigning NBA MVP did hit a fan, he did go over and apologize to the fan, who turned out to be the son of a Cavaliers minority owner.
Steph Curry's mouthpiece hit Andrew Forbes, son of Cavs minority owner Nate Forbes, on the shoulder. Curry apologized.

Curry isn’t expected to to get suspended and precedent states that he won’t. He will definetely be getting a fine after his outburst along with his coach Steve Kerr, who completely ripped the refs after Game 6. Expect Curry to be writing out a $25,000 check very soon.
NBA precedent on a thrown mouthpiece, I'm told, is a fine and not a suspension. So Steph Curry, presumably, will be fine for Game 7.

Kerr did have an opinion on Curry’s toss and he has no problem about it. The fan lived, Curry left and on we go to game 7 back in Oakland. His wife on the otherhand might not have such a peaceful evening.
