As fans wait for the official release of Star Wars: Battlefront, players will be able to jump into a beta version of Battlefront’s multiplayer. Early October players will get a taste of Star Wars multiplayer online. The beta will consist of three modes and two teams: Rebels and Empire.
The three modes that are announced for the beta are Assault Walker on Hoth, a Survival Mission on Tatooins and Drop Zone — which has yet to be described.
Players will also get to test out the companion app early. The Star Wars Battlefront Companion app features the strategic card game Base Command and lets you earn in-game Credits that unlocks Star Cards, weapons, and more in Battlefront.
Other than an early October release, there’s no word on when exactly the beta will be available to the public or if each console will have its on week for players to play, but stick around for more information that should arrive soon.
Star Wars Battlefront releases November 17th; make sure to pre-order your copy now.
