Back at E3 2014, Square Enix announced the sequel to the incredible reboot of Tomb Raider. During that same press conference, they announced that it would be a Microsoft exclusive. As you can expect, there was a major public out-cry from fans of the series, mainly because it originated on the Playstation and it didn’t make sense to make it a Xbox exclusive.
Since then Square Enix has responded to fans and let every one know that Rise Of The Tomb Raider will in-fact release on all consoles. Now they are giving us time frames for the Playstation and PC releases.
PC players will be able to play Rise Of The Tomb Raider “Early 2016”, while Playstation users have to wait until Holiday 2016. Square Enix and Rise Of The Tomb Raider devs will be at GamesCom 2015, so we can expect more news on Rise Of The Tomb Raider soon.
