San Antonio Spurs are one of those teams that always just finds a way to make the most out of nothing. They always find a way to just move guys around and bring in new guys to replace those guys who have been moved out.
They lost Aron Baynes to the Detroit Pistons, traded Tiago Splitter to the Atlanta Hawks but they ended up agreeing to terms with LaMarcus Aldridge and David West. Pretty good haul by the Spurs, if you ask me.
In the backcourt, they lost Marco Belinelli to the Sacramento Kings and Cory Joseph went to his hometown Toronto Raptors. The first part of replacing the losses in their backcourt is going to join the Spurs in the form of a former second round pick with good upside. Kings will send Ray McCallum to the Spurs for a second round pick.

Sources say San Antonio has agreed to a trade a future second-round pick to Sacramento for Ray McCallum to replace Cory Joseph

McCallum has played 113 games in his NBA career with the Kings. He’s averaged 6.9 points per game, with 2.7 assists, shooting 32% from three-point range while playing 20.6 minutes per game.
He’ll be on the depth chart behind Patty Mills as the third point-guard in the Spurs rotation. It’s unclear if they will get a Belinelli replacement but if they do, it will have to be for super cheap.
