Sony has announced that the next installment of the Spider-Man franchise will hit theaters at the end of 2021. The Tom Holland series will enter its third phase after releasing Spider-Man Homecoming in and Spider-Man: Far From Home in 2019. Spider-Man also made a dramatic appearance in Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame last spring.
The untitled Sony film is just one of many films to receive a new release date this Friday. Most notably, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has been pushed back to March 2022. In addition, Marvel has moved Thor: Love and Thunder from February 18, 2022 to February 11, 2022. Fatherhood, Man From Toronto and the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel all have shifted release dates as well.
While the title remains a mystery, fans can prepare to see the next Spider-Man film on November 5, 2021.
