Soulja Boy has been released from jail 146 days early. TMZ reported yesterday that Soulja Boy was released after being locked up for three months. He was originally sentenced to 240 days in jail and 265 days of community service for a probation violation in April.
According to TMZ, the rapper’s early release is “thanks to a combination of good behavior, time served and overcrowding.” Soulja Boy’s sentence was a result of his home being raided in February where ammunition was found. The raid took place after an ex-girlfriend claimed she was held and tied up against her will. He was also arrested in April for failing to complete his community service.
