In 2015 the $58 million budget film Goosebumps scored $156 million in the worldwide box office, and even got generally positive reviews from critics. In the film industry, that kind of box office feat alone means one thing: a sequel. So, that’s exactly what we’re getting, Sony has confirmed.
According to The Playlist, the studio has signed the 2015 film’s Rob Letterman and Darren Lemke to direct and write. There’s been no word yet on whether or not Jack Black will return as R.L. Stine.
Deborah Forte and Neal H. Moritz will be producing, as they did for the original film.
Do you think we need another adventure with R.L. Stine? Let us know!
