The roller coaster ride that surrounds R. Kelly hits another steep drop for the singer. Brought on due to Lifetime’s Surviving R. Kelly documentary, the domino effect has brought about his peers removing their collaborations from streaming services and so much more.
Previously reporting just how Sony and RCA would not be funding and releasing new music from the singer, it looks like Kelly’s relationship with the label is done for good, according to Billboard. No longer listed as an artist on RCA’s website, which includes artists like A$AP Rocky and H.E.R., that gives way to confirmation just before official word arrives from the label or R. Kelly’s camp.
Be sure to stay tuned as more information surrounding this cut of ties are unveiled.
