I’m hoping this is true!
Ms. Marvel was one of the first female superheros, and she truly embodies the the meaning of a bad girl. Not bad as in malicious, bad as in super strong and confident.
Anyway, the entertainment sites Hypable and Daily Mail are reporting that Ms. Marvel will be appearing in the next Avengers film, scheduled to be in theaters in 2015.
But not only that, both sites are saying that Emily Blunt and Ruth Wilson are being considered for the role of the female heroine.
2015 is a while away, but it’s very exciting to see that Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios are getting started on the project extra early! I mean, this sequel will definitely have some big shoes to fill, especially since the first holds the title for the highest-grossing opening weekend ever, but I’m sure everything will be fine as long as Joss Whedon is leading the project.
