The Philadelphia 76er’s will be without small forward Robert Covington and center Jahlil Okafor for their final 7-games of the season. The two players have been battling right knee injuries for the latter part of the season and the Sixers seem to be playing it safe by shutting the two players down.

The Sixers will definitely take a hit from a production standpoint, as Covington and Okafor are two key pieces for Philadelphia. This season, Okafor averaged 11.8 points and 4.8 rebounds a game but was starting to find himself more and more post All-Star break.
As for Covington, the small forward averaged 12.9 points to go along with 6.5 rebounds per game. Covington’s ability to stretch the floor and give the Sixers a three-point threat will be missed.
The Sixers currently sit at a record of 28-47 and 12th in the Eastern conference standings. Although they’ll be without two key pieces to end the season, the Sixers are still in a great spot and exceeded everyone’s expectations on them this season.
