Report: Sixers Inquiring With Nets About Marquis Teague
The Philadelphia 76ers are inquiring with the Brooklyn Nets about a trade that would send Nets guard Marquis Teague to Philly, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports. It’s unclear what Brooklyn would send to the Sixers in return, but nothing of significance seems imminent.
Brooklyn acquired Teague in a trade with the Chicago Bulls last year.
Teague, 21, the brother of Atlanta Hawks point guard Jeff Teague, has yet to find his niche in the NBA since leaving Kentucky after his freshman year. Teague was drafted 29th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft.
