According to a report by TMZ, “Mo Bamba” star Sheck Wes, will not face charges for alleged domestic abuse attack on Justine Skye.
It was reported back in February, that Skye took to Twitter and called out her former ex-boyfriend Wes, for attacking her, her friends, and current boyfriend GoldLink. She also tweeted out video footage of the rapper trying to jump over her fence to reportedly attack her in another instance. Wes denied all claims.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office has rejected the case due to a “lack of evidence.” While the charges have been dropped, TMZ reports that a rep for Skye tells the platform, “a judge in the Superior Court of California granted a restraining order against Sheck Wes that is still in effect and the correlating case is still pending.”
Skye’s team also shared a statement with The Fader ,
“A judge in the Superior Court of California granted a restraining order against [Sheck] Wes that is still in effect and the correlating case is still pending. However, it is unfortunate that the Los Angeles District Attorney decided to not pursue any further action at this time but that is often the case with many victims of Domestic Violence which is why incidents like this go unreported much of the time.”
