Team Illness Leaves 7 Grizzlies Questionable

Seven members of the Memphis Grizzlies are questionable for Friday night’s game in Boston due to the stomach virus.
Guards Tony Allen, Beno Udrih, Courtney Lee, forwards Jon Leuer and Jarnell Stokes, center Kosta Koufos, and guard/forward Quincy Pondexter have all caught the virus and their status against the Celtics is uncertain. Lee and Stokes are the most recent to catch the sickness, as the other five players didn’t play in a 96-92 loss to the Raptors on Wednesday.
The team did sign big man Hassan Whiteside and guard Kalin Lucas for Wednesday’s game in Toronto, but immediately waived both players following the game. Memphis currently sits a top of the western conference with a record of 10-2.
