
The Toronto Raptors are keeping an important piece of their playoff core by agreeing to re-sign big man Serge Ibaka to a 3-year, $65 million deal. They paid to keep their man and it could mean that the Raptors are also bringing back starting point guard on a deal at a similar length.

Ibaka originally joined the Raptors back at the trade deadline when Toronto traded Terrence Ross and a first round pick to the Orlando Magic. They gave up a little bit to get a really solid player who provided them some pick and roll shooting, defense and rebounding.
