‘Kingsman: The Secret Service” was a surprise hit at the box office back when it debuted in 2015. The film had previously been delayed and had faced numerous other problems during the build up to its release. The final product was a fun and refreshing take on the spy genre which had become increasingly serious in recent years. The film returned to the roots of the spy genre by incorporating lots of over the top gadgets and story lines while simultaneously providing some pretty kick ass action. ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ seems to be very much in the same vein as the first film while also keeping it fresh by switching up the location. The Statesman aspect to the story could be particularly compelling due to Channing Tatum‘s prowess for action comedy roles.
