The relationship between Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant has been a back story that has not been fully told yet. There have been some reports coming out about their relationship as it pertains to Durant’s departure to the Golden State Warriors. KD and Russ reportedly bumped heads at times and Durant’s pension to often change his mind at a whim irked some close to him.
Westbrook said he found out about Durant leaving on social media, just like everyone else did. From Westbrook’s side, it appeared that KD was keeping him in the dark but according to Durant they were ‘still cool’.
It appears, according to Westbrook, that’s not the case.

At this point, it’s a big game of ‘he-said, he-said’ and we may never get the proper answer to what has actually gone down between these two perennial MVP candidates. One thing is for certain though, all eyes will be glued to your device of choice when the Thunder and Warriors first matchup. It will be a game to watch and it’ll also be interesting to see how these two greet each other.
Break-ups are messy, that’s for sure. But one that’s broadcasted everywhere around the world for all to see, well that could be even worse.
