Jay Z‘s Roc Nation Sports is looking to make a push at recently declared draftee Andrew Wiggins, who’s accolades this year include Big 12 Freshman of the Year and named Second Team All-American, while averaging 17.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists.
Roc Nation Sports already bolsters an impressive roster with C.C. Sabathia, Victor Cruz, Robinson Cano, Skylar Diggins, Nndamukong Suh, Hakeem Nicks, Geno Smith, and Kevin Durant; don’t be shocked if Wiggins makes that move, but there is also another unknown agency coming for Wiggins’ services as well. The bidding/courting wars have begun for the young Canadian.
According to league sources, Wiggins is in the process of choosing between Hip Hop mogul Jay-Z’s Roc Nation and one other unknown agency for player representation. Rich Paul, LeBron James’ agent, was rumored to be in the mix but we were informed Paul never recruited the forward.
