By now, we all know that XXXTentacion was attacked at his show in Rob Stone’s hometown of San Diego, but why?
Preceding the attack was a warning from Rob Stone for XXX to not perform shows in California, but of course, XXX couldn’t let down his fans. But what provoked the warning by Stone, you ask?
Here are the details:
According to the ‘Chill Bill’ rapper, it all started on Desiigner’s tour in which Rob Stone and XXXTentacion’s friend, Ski Mask da Slump God, were both parts of. Stone and Ski, to keep it short and sweet, had been having altercations on performance protocol, respect and Ski Mask being removed from the Rolling Loud Festival lineup due to Rob Stone. According to Stone in a radio interview for Real 92.3 in L.A., they were solving it privately until XXXTentacion became involved in an attempt to stick up for Ski. Stone told XXXTentacion to not come to San Diego to perform (which he did anyways), and the results of XXX not heeding that warning can be seen here.
Since the incident, XXX has been ravaging on social media about being attacked, while Rob Stone has blatantly told XXX to “not come to California anymore” and also claiming he’s “not Drake”. Yesterday, Stone showed that he meant what he said when he released a diss track entitled ‘xxxtracredit’ (produced by Zaytoven) where he rips XXX for the incident and even clowns him over the allegations of XXX assaulting his pregnant ex-girlfriend.
Stone also posted a tweet yesterday that mocks XXX getting rocked at his San Diego performance, which you can see below.
It definitely seems that this beef is far from over, and hip hop fans everywhere are waiting to see if XXXTentacion plans on retaliating.
