Having the honor of being one of the UK’s most notable acts, Rita Ora has yet to make herself an equal force in the United States. Although the singer isn’t unfamiliar to U.S. radio airplay, the singer has yet to release a debut album in the U.S. market. Rita Ora is expecting all of that to change and she’s started with the release of her brand new sexy single, ‘Body On Me‘, which features Chris Brown. As with most artists, the success of the lead single greatly plays a factor on an album’s release, but it appears the ‘Radioactive’ singer already has a release month in mind.
Despite having had four UK no.1’s already, ‘Body On Me’ will be Ora’s first proper debut single attempt in the US, with her album set to touch down in November.
“On this second album I’ve put my blood in it, literally,” she revealed in a press release. “The album was my resurrection. I got myself together. I had amazing people around me. I went back to the drawing board and started writing with them.”
“So this album I wanna be the rock star that I always was,” she added. “I have to fight every day. I still have to grind.”
With ‘Body On Me’ being summertime friendly and holding all the components for a hit, just from early predictions, everything is shaping up to help the LP become a success. The visual for the Chris Brown assisted single is due out on August 21.
