Each week, Billboard faithfully shares the latest and greatest news surrounding various artists’ album releases and singles that have been serviced to radio all across the U.S. The past few weeks remain no different as Billboard continues to report the news that music lovers and fans want to know. For multiple weeks, at this point, Rihanna topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart thanks to her infectious single, ‘Work.’ Continuing her dominant streak, the single remains atop of the chart for a 7th week and has now officially tied her previous singles, ‘Umbrella’ and ‘Love The Way You Lie,’ for 7 weeks at the top spot. Only ‘We Found Love’ has stayed at no. 1 for longer than that.
The celebration doesn’t stop there as Fifth Harmony has another reason to be full of joy as the girl group has landed their first Top 10 single, at No. 10, thanks to the Ty Dolla $ign-assisted record, ‘Work From Home.’ This would make the ladies the first girl group to land a top 10 single via the Billboard Hot 100 since the Pussycat Dolls in 2008. With the record still increasing in streaming, sales, and radio airplay, there’s no doubt that the No. 10 will be outdone in the coming weeks ahead. Congratulations are definitely in order for all the ladies. Check out more from this week’s Hot 100, here.
