As Rihanna will officially kick of the era for her 8th studio album at any moment, from the outside looking in, it looks like Rihanna is upping the ante all across the board. Making progressions musically, as seen with ‘FourFiveSeconds,’ expanding forward and creatively with her visuals, as seen by Anti‘s artwork, doing things bigger and better than she’s done before seems to be a reoccurring theme surrounding the singer these past few months. With that being said, these advancements would inevitably spill over to her business side as it’s being reported that Rihanna has inked a multi-million dollar deal with Samsung.
South Korean electronics giant Samsung has reached an unprecedented $25 million deal to sponsor Rihanna’s upcoming album and tour, The Post has learned.
The Rihanna deal follows seven months of talks and is the biggest music-marketing tie-up in recent memory. Hammering out the details took longer than expected in part because Rihanna made some last-minute tweaks to the album, sources said.
This comes as big news and even better marketing with a new album launch on the horizon. The partnership with Samsung shouldn’t come as a surprise as Roc Nation, and even Jay Z himself, have previously inked deals with the company. Options are endless as to just how Ms. Fenty will use this deal to her advantage when it comes time for the world to hear what she’s been cooking up in the studio for the past year and more. With a deal of that magnitude in her hands, we’re sure that the possibilities and advantages are endless for both Samsung and Rihanna to ensure they bring about the best results for each other.
