After a great kickoff with ANTI‘s official lead single, ‘Work,’ it appears that Rihanna is looking to keep the momentum going and the ball rolling as she has selected two followup records as official singles from the album.
Currently hitting cities across the U.S. thanks to her “ANTI World Tour,” Rihanna has found herself on a set and busy schedule that has allocated her just enough time to shoot music videos for upcoming singles and plan ahead as far as possible due to the commitment to the road. With ‘Work’ still sitting atop the Billboard Hot 100, the record will lose steam in the near future. With that being said, Ms. Fenty has selected ‘Kiss It Better’ and ‘Needed Me’ as new official singles from her eighth studio album. Taking to Instagram, the singer has also revealed the accompanying single covers.
Without much thought, it can be seen that the selections were made to cater to both Pop (‘Kiss It Better’) and Urban (‘Needed Me’) radio. As time and history has always shown, it’s ultimately up to the people to decide which record will be the bigger hit out of the two. With videos already shot for both singles, we’ll see if these tunes will continue to carry the torch that ‘Work’ has set.
