With the start of the 2014 NFL season, CBS and the NFL Network will begin carrying NFL games on Thursday nights. To make kick-offs a little more exciting, each game of the series will be opened by Jay-Z and Rihanna’s collaboration “Run This Town”, accompanied by narration from actor Don Cheadle.
“This open combines one of music’s biggest stars with one of the most dynamic actors in Hollywood,” said Radovich. “The energy that both talents provide gives the opening to every Thursday night the big-game, primetime feel it deserves. It is a dream scenario for any director.”
The season opener Seattle Seahawks vs Green Bay Packers will be broadcasted by NBC, in the following week CBS/NFL Network will take over.
