Social media is usually a great tool to connect fans and artists. However, it also can go right in the other direction and offer a place for expressing hate and jealousy.
Instagram user ms_kasharna1 had commented on a picture posted by Rihanna: “I swear everyone in Rihanna’s family looks like they’re retarded…. Must be the Drugs and alcohol!!!”
Rihanna responded to the offensive message by grabbing a picture of ms_kasharna1 and placing it next to a picture of a goat asking her fans to “spot the differences”.
Rih also posted the Instagram post to her Twitter account.
