These past few weeks haven’t seemed to be the best for Rick Ross. Exactly 2 weeks ago, the ‘Push It’ rapper was arrested in Georgia on a misdemeanor marijuana charge and as of this morning, the rapper is back in trouble with the law. At the moment, details are scarce, but the rapper was picked from his Fayette County, Georgia home and it appears that the incident happened around the same time that the rapper was arrested on the marijuana charge.
The Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force of the U.S. Marshals Service tells TMZ … Ross was arrested Wednesday morning in Fayette County, Georgia and charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery.
As of now, Rick Ross and his bodyguard are the only two individuals in custody. We’ll be sure to keep with up to speed with inevitable updates to come.
UPDATE: Ross was denied bail today (June 24) by Fayette County Superior Court judge. It’s unclear why he was denied bail, but, MMG’s bawse remains in jail. Moreover, reports of the assault have come out claiming William Roberts a.k.a. Rick Ross forced Jonathan Zamudio, at gunpoint, to stay in his guesthouse against his will.
“Subject did assault the victim, Jonathan Zamudio, (twice), with a handgun, specifically a Glock 17, 9mm, black in color, and in doing so caused two chipped teeth, jaw injury, neck injury, and multiple scratches and contusions. The victim lost the use of his jaw and is restricted to soft foods and liquid diet only as result of not being able to chew food.”
