Capcom has officially announced that a REMAKE, not a HD Remastered, but an actual remake of Resident Evil 2 is officially on it’s way. The remake will be developed by Capcom’s R&D Division 1, lead by Yoshiaki Hirabayashi.

Hirabayashi makes it known that development hasn’t been started and that there is no specific window for the release. There hasn’t been any confirmed consoles for this release, but stay tuned for any more info that may arrive.
