2016 NBA All-Star Game takes place outside of United States soil for the first time ever and fittingly, the game goes north of the border to Toronto, Canada. Native rapper Drake led the charge for Toronto to earn its first All-Star Weekend and the successful play from the Raptors over the last few seasons also helped. Not to mention, Toronto is a beautiful city with over nearly million people populating the city.
As All-Star Weekend quickly approaches, the first order of business to be determined for the weekend full of festivities was quite possibly the most important. The starters for the 2016 NBA All-Star game. The debates ran rampant over the last few weeks discussing who should start, who shouldn’t start and who could possibly knock someone else out of the running for a starting spot. The final starting results were announced last week and it basically went as many expected.
Now, the debate raged on but to a lesser degree when it came to the announcement of the 2016 NBA All-Star reserves. Today, the official list of reserves will be formally announced during the ‘Inside the NBA’ pregame show on TNT, but Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal Constitution has the findings. Here’s the results.
Western Conference

G – Chris Paul, Los Angeles Clippers
G – James Harden, Houston Rockets
G – Klay Thompson, Golden State Warriors
F – Anthony Davis, New Orleans Pelicans
F – LaMarcus Aldridge, San Antonio Spurs
F – Draymond Green, Golden State Warriors
F – DeMarcus Cousins, Sacramento Kings
West reserves are: Green, Davis, Paul, Cousins, Thompson, Harden Aldridge.

G – Isaiah Thomas, Boston Celtics
G – Jimmy Butler, Chicago Bulls
G – John Wall, Washington Wizards
