There were tricks and treats a plenty in Halloween action in the NBA on Friday. 6 games took over the night that featured some big time performances from big time performers, a couple upsets and one overtime.
Lets check out a quick recap of the first game of the night, the Pacers hosting the Memphis Grizzlies.
Zach Randolph scored 11 of his 22 points in the third and added 13 rebounds to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a 97-89 victory over the Indiana Pacers. Marc Gasol had 20 points and 6 rebounds and Mike Conley added 17 points for the Grizzlies, who are 2-0 for just the third time in franchise history.
Chris Copeland came off the bench with 16 points and six rebounds and C.J. Miles finished with 13 for the short-staffed Pacers.

Then there was the prime time match-ups. The first one of the night was the Cavaliers visiting Chicago.
LeBron James scored 36 points, and the Cleveland Cavaliers beat Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls 114-108 in overtime. He also had 8 rebounds, 4 steals and just 3 turnovers after going 5-of-15 from the floor and turning over the ball 8 times against the Knicks. Kyrie Irving scored 23. Tristan Thompson finished with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Kevin Love added 16 points and 16 rebounds, and the Cavaliers out-rebounded the Bulls 52-42.
Rose scored 20 points for Chicago, but his first meaningful home game in about a year was spoiled by a sprained left ankle and a dominant performance by James. Rose, sidelined for most of the past two seasons by knee injuries, came up hobbling in the first half and headed to the locker room in the fourth quarter. Kirk Hinrich finished with 20 points after Rose was injured. Pau Gasol scored 15, and Mike Dunleavy Jr. added 14 points.

Eric Bledsoe had an atrocious 3-for-15 shooting night but tallied 12 points and nine rebounds.

The battle for Los Angeles started up again as the Los Angeles Lakers “hosted” the Los Angeles Clippers last night.
Let’s just start by saying, Kobe “Bean” Bryant had a ridiculously entertaining night. Check this play he had early in the game.
Blake Griffin scored 39 points and went 11-for-12 from the free throw line with 7 rebounds to help the Clippers get a tough 118-111 victory over the winless Lakers in the first meeting of the season between the 2 LA teams. DeAndre Jordan had 11 points and 13 rebounds but was in foul trouble. Chris Paul had 12 points, 10 assists and two steals for the Clippers. Jamal Crawford, last season’s sixth man of the year, had 22 points off the bench.
Jordan Hill scored 13 of his 21 points in the third quarter, and Kobe Bryant had 21 but cost the Lakers down the stretch with his uncharacteristically frozen shooting. Jeremy Lin finished with 17 points and 9 assists.
