RECAP: Clippers Bounce Back For 113-103 Win Against Golden State; LAC 3-2
The Los Angeles Clippers bounced back from an emotional Game 4 loss to beat the Golden State Warriors handedly for a 113-103 Game 5 win on Tuesday night. DeAndre Jordan commanded the paint for the Clippers with 25 points and 18 rebounds while even contributing nine free throws to a +18 Clippers advantage at the foul line. Los Angeles’ bench also outscored Golden State’s bench 36-19, much to the help of 19 points from Jamal Crawford.
Stephen Curry wasn’t ever able to truly ignite like he did in Game 4, finishing with just 17 points on 5-for-10 shooting and eight turnovers. Klay Thompson had a team-high 21 points for the Warriors. Andre Iguodala and David Lee both had 18 points.
Chris Paul finished with 20 points, 7 assists and 5 steals for the Clippers. Blake Griffin had 18 points and 7 rebounds.
Game 6 of this series will take place in Golden State on Thursday at 10:30 PM EST on TNT.
