Last year in April, the Toronto Raptors faced off against the Brooklyn Nets in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. The series ended up being a thriller, and the Brooklyn Nets won by 1 point to finish the series. The Nets were up 1 with 6 seconds left and Kyle Lowry missed the shot to advance and play the Miami Heat in the second round.
This was the first time the two faced off in the season after their game 7 matchup. At first the Brooklyn Nets came up with a lot of energy, and basically controlled the entire first half. The Second Half was completely different as the Raptors showed a lot of heart in their matchup. Jonas Valanciunas had 16 points and 10 rebounds while Kyle Lowry had 20 points and 12 assists. The Raptors showed they got a lot more left in the tank this year against the Nets.
