Today is a day that brings much to celebrate if you’re Rae Sremmurd. Over the course of the past several days, their SremmLife 2 cut, ‘Black Beatles,’ has helped serve as the soundtrack for the Mannequin Challenge that has swept the face of the internet and Pop culture. Seeing people of all ages participate in the challenge, the viral nature help launch the record into last week’s top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. Also, this caused for a surge in purchases and streaming of the record all across the country. Now, there’s even much more to be happy about as the brothers, along with Gucci Mane, have earned their first Billboard Hot 100 no. 1 single with ‘Black Beatles,’ according to Billboard. Furthermore, the record also serves as the first Hot 100 number one for the duo’s producer, Mike Will Made-It.
